Google Hotels Reviews API
Google Hotels Reviews API allows you to get reviews for a specific hotel. The API is accessed through the following endpoint: /search?engine=google_hotels_reviews.
A user may query the following: https://serpapi.com/search?engine=google_hotels_reviews utilizing a GET request. Head to the playground for a live and interactive demo.
API Parameters
Search Query
property_token
Required
Parameter defines the sepcific property. You can find property_token from Google Hotels Properties API.
Localization
hl
Optional
Parameter defines the language to use for the Google Hotels search. It's a two-letter language code. (e.g., en for English, es for Spanish, or fr for French). Head to the Google languages page for a full list of supported Google languages.
Advanced Google Hotels Reviews Parameters
category_token
Optional
Parameter is used to get reviews filtered by a specific category. You can find category_token from Google Hotels API under reviews_breakdown.
sort_by
Optional
Parameter defines the sorting order of the reviews.
Available options:1 - Most helpful (Default)2 - Most recent3 - Highest score4 - Lowest score
source_number
Optional
Parameter filter the reviews based on their originating source.
Standard options (always availbable): 0 - All reviews (Default)-1 - Google
For property-specific source numbers, refer to the other_reviews field in Google Hotels Property Details API.
Available sources vary by property.
Serpapi Parameters
no_cache
Optional
Parameter will force SerpApi to fetch the Google Hotels results even if a cached version is already present. A cache is served only if the query and all parameters are exactly the same. Cache expires after 1h. Cached searches are free, and are not counted towards your searches per month. It can be set to false (default) to allow results from the cache, or true to disallow results from the cache. no_cache and async parameters should not be used together.
async
Optional
Parameter defines the way you want to submit your search to SerpApi. It can be set to false (default) to open an HTTP connection and keep it open until you got your search results, or true to just submit your search to SerpApi and retrieve them later. In this case, you'll need to use our Searches Archive API to retrieve your results. async and no_cache parameters should not be used together. async should not be used on accounts with Ludicrous Speed enabled.
zero_trace
Optional
Enterprise only. Parameter enables ZeroTrace mode. It can be set to false (default) or true. Enable this mode to skip storing search parameters, search files, and search metadata on our servers. This may make debugging more difficult.
output
Optional
Parameter defines the final output you want. It can be set to json (default) to get a structured JSON of the results, or html to get the raw html retrieved.
json_restrictor
Optional
Parameter defines the fields you want to restrict in the outputs for smaller, faster responses. See JSON Restrictor for more details.
API Results
JSON Results
JSON output includes structured data for Reviews.
A search status is accessible through search_metadata.status. It flows this way: Processing -> Success || Error. If a search has failed, error will contain an error message. search_metadata.id is the search ID inside SerpApi.
HTML Results
This API does not have html response, just a text. search_metadata.prettify_html_file contains prettified version of result. It is displayed in playground.

Guest services team and Lisandro deserve a 1000/10 rating and is the reason I will be returning for future visits. "snippet": "The Stephen F Austin Hotel is in a great location. It has amazing history and is a local institution. However, it is a bit tired and is due for a refresh. The rooms are clean but very dated and worn. Worn furniture, curtains, and switches that did not work were some of the obvious items. ||That said, the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, in a competitive market like Austin, there is no reason Sonesta has not updated this. ||The best thing the Stephen F has going for it is the balcony off of the second floor bar. One of the best locations for a cocktail overlooking Congress and to view the capital. ||I will be going back to Austin several times over the next few months. I have made reservations elsewhere.||My recommendation is to have a cocktail and look at the history but stay elsewhere. ||My please to Sonesta to update this property and make it the gem it once was and should still be."

However, during my recent stay over Thanksgiving, my family and I were there for about four nights, and the service at front desk was honestly a joke.\nWhen we arrived (around 11pm), we were told there was no room available, even though we made our reservation back in March. We ended up waiting almost 2 hours because the receptionist couldn’t get any communication or updates from the service team. Only after that long wait did housekeeping finally confirm they had a room ready for us.\nWe were also told that, because of the delay, we would be given a room with a beautiful view. Instead, the “beautiful view” we got was the lovely wall of the building right next to the hotel. I would honestly prefer that they don’t promise anything at all rather than lie just to make the situation seem better.\nOverall, it was extremely disappointing, especially considering how much we paid and how many times we’ve stayed at this hotel before.",

Avoid.\nThe Reception desk couldn’t be bothered to advise anything about facilities/breakfast vouchers or options/wifi/ice - basics. Wouldn’t even check if my room was available at 3.10pm instead of 4pm. Long queues at desks throughout the day as never all points manned. Lots of people asking for managers.\nThe room looked like it was painted in the dark and had a dusty paint-spattered carpet & dirty drips. I know the room was not hoovered as crumbs left. I didn’t get cups until day 2, broken drawers, no mini-fridge (and this wasn’t cheap room we selected) and it was seriously hot with v large, noisy aircon. Felt dated & old, especially mouldy grout/bathroom sealant which you don’t expect at this price.\nBathroom was teeny, mouldy, dirty….but a good shower.\nHallways full of busy housekeeping trolleys & bags of dirty linen to navigate around all hours of day.\nLocation was excellent for my office & Central Park/broadway. Bed v comfortable.",

"snippet": "Myself , my daughter and 3 grandsons stayed in this hotel December 9th until 14th 2025 and after reading some bad reviews was really worried but we needn’t have been because it was spotlessly clean , beds and pillows so comfy staff helpful and in a great location . We were 10 minutes from Time Square and everything is so easy to find . The 9/11 museum is a must to visit and the inside of Trump Towers was amazing . Food is expensive if you eat in restaurants but there is more than enough street food at half the price . I would definetly go back to the Park Central Hotel."

"snippet": "Arrived at the Pullman Tour Eiffel yesterday having booked two rooms with breakfast, and having confirmed everything ahead of my arrival. Upon check-in, got told I haven't included breakfast. We had booked a tour, so had to leave it and deal with it in the evening. Upon a lengthy conversation, the attendant at the front desk agreed breakfast was included and said it would be added back.||This morning, arrive for breakfast, only to be told, breakfast was not listed. Went to the front desk for the third time. The attendant once again said breakfast is included and we should go and enjoy breakfast.||After a day of sightseeing, we return to a letter from reception in our room informing us that breakfast needs to be paid for as it was not included.||I booked directly with Pullman and clearly paid for bed and breakfast. Hands down the worst hotel experience in many years. For a hotel which claims to have prestige, I found their behaviour and attitude extremely cheap.||If we were staying more than just 2 nights, I would have checked out and moved elsewhere.||You need to do better Pullman!"
