⭐️ Top Updates

Google Books API

We've added the new Google Books API, making it easy to scrape results from the Books tab of Google Search. Search any query, including with operators such as intitle:, inauthor:, and isbn:, and filter results by document type (books, magazines, or newspapers), by preview or full view, and by publication date. For each result, the API returns its title, link, book_id, thumbnail, authors, date, snippet, and a link to other editions, and each author comes with a serpapi_link to their other books. Google Search API searches with tbm=bks now also return Google Books API results. It's ideal for developers building book discovery and recommendation apps, library and publishing tools, research assistants, and AI agents that need book data. Details

Google Translate API

We've added the new Google Translate API, making it easy to translate text with Google Translate. Translate up to 5,000 characters between any of the 249 supported languages, or let Google detect the source language with from=auto. The API returns the translation with its pronunciation, the detected language and its confidence, alternative translations, and sentence-by-sentence results. For single words, it also returns dictionary data, such as definitions, examples, parts of speech, and gender-specific translations. It's ideal for developers building localization and multilingual content tools, language learning apps, cross-language research, and AI agents that need translations. Details

Meta Ad Library API

We've added the new Meta Ad Library API, making it easy to scrape ads from the Meta Ad Library across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Threads, and the Audience Network. Search by keyword, by advertiser page, or both, filter ads by country, ad category, active status, media type, platform, language, and date range, and sort them like the Ad Library does. For each ad, the API returns its Library ID, run dates, platforms, advertiser page, text, images, videos, carousel cards, and call to action, plus the amount spent, impressions, estimated audience size, and who paid for it on political and social issue ads. It's ideal for developers building competitor ad monitoring and marketing intelligence tools, political ad research and transparency platforms, and AI agents that need advertising data. Details

Facebook Marketplace API

We've added the new Facebook Marketplace API, making it easy to scrape listings from Facebook Marketplace. Search by keyword, by Marketplace category, or both, around any location or GPS coordinates within the radius you choose, filter listings by price, condition, date listed, delivery method, and availability, and sort them like Marketplace does. For each listing, the API returns its title, price and previous price, location, listing time, delivery types, seller, and thumbnail. When nothing matches exactly, it also returns the similar listings Marketplace suggests instead. It's ideal for developers building resale price tracking tools, local market research platforms, and AI shopping agents that need second-hand marketplace data. Details

We've added the new Instagram Popular API, making it easy to scrape the posts on Instagram's Popular page for any keyword. For each post, the API returns its link, image, caption, view count, video URLs, and creator, with a link to the creator in the Instagram Profile API, along with Instagram's description of the keyword and related keywords. Use next_page_token to get more posts. It's ideal for developers building social listening and trend discovery tools, influencer marketing platforms, content research, and AI agents that need popular Instagram content. Details

Google Finance Autocomplete API

We've added the new Google Finance Autocomplete API, making it easy to get the suggestions of the Google Finance search box. For any query, such as a company name, the API returns matching stocks, indexes, mutual funds, currencies, futures, and, in the US, prediction markets and private markets, grouped like Google Finance's filters. Each suggestion includes its symbol, name, exchange, price, and price movement, and results with a symbol come with a serpapi_google_finance_link to the Google Finance API. It's ideal for developers building stock search and ticker lookup, portfolio and trading apps, financial data pipelines, and AI agents that need to resolve a company name to a ticker. Details

Baidu Maps API

We've added the new Baidu Maps API, making it easy to scrape places from Baidu Maps. Search any query in a city, using its Baidu Maps city code, or around GPS coordinates, and page through the results. For each place, the API returns its name, type, rating and reviews, price, address, phone number, opening hours, GPS coordinates, thumbnail, and user reviews, plus its distance for searches around coordinates. It's ideal for developers building local SEO and listing management tools, Chinese market research platforms, travel apps, and AI agents that need local business data from China. Details

Trader Joe's Search API and Trader Joe's Product API

We've added the new Trader Joe's Search API and Trader Joe's Product API, making it easy to scrape products from Trader Joe's. Search any query across all stores or in a specific store, filter results by category, characteristics such as organic or vegan, tags, and new products, and sort them by price or popularity. For each product, the Search API returns its title, link, thumbnail, category, price, and size, with a serpapi_link to the Product API, which returns the product's full details: price and availability in a store, description, images, ingredients, allergens, and nutrition facts. It's ideal for developers building grocery price tracking and comparison tools, meal planning and dietary apps, retail analytics, and AI shopping agents that need grocery product data. Details

  • We have removed headings, lists, tables, forms, sections, breadcrumbs, price_offers, text_content, search_information, scripts, stylesheets, and inline_iframes from the JSON. We have also removed position from every section, url and charset inside page_information, the viewport, theme_color, color_scheme, and referrer meta tags, displayed_link inside inline_links, width and height on images and videos, and type and embed_url on videos. The include_inline_assets parameter no longer has any effect.
  • The Markdown output (output=md) now returns only the page's main content, without the search_metadata and search_parameters front matter.
