We're looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team full-time at our Austin, TX office. As our in-house Bookkeeper, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining clean and accurate financial records, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and supporting long-term financial planning.

You’ll work closely with our CEO, Executive Assistants, and external CPAs to manage daily transactions, validate expenses, assist with payroll and vendor payments, and support monthly reporting.

We can offer $75k-$95k per year (depending on profile), 401k matching, Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance, and profit-sharing bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial ledgers
  • Categorize and review financial transactions across departments
  • Process contractor invoices and employee reimbursements
  • Validate expenses and manage refunds, cancellations, and irregular charges
  • Track recurring subscriptions and vendor payments
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting, including budget tracking
  • Assist with payroll and ensure accurate compensation records
  • Organize financial documentation and assist with audits or tax preparation
  • Work with the executive team on financial transparency and reporting
  • Contribute to improving and documenting internal bookkeeping processes
  • Required: 2+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred (preferably in-house at a startup or SaaS company)
  • Required: Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online would be a bonus) preferred
