### [**Google Search API**](https://serpapi.com/search-api)

We’ve added a new feature to our **Google Search API** that allows users to specify search origin using geographic coordinates instead of a location name. Developers can now use the `lat` and `lon` parameters to define the exact GPS latitude and longitude where the search should originate, giving much more precise geographic control compared to the traditional location parameter. In addition, a new `radius` parameter can be used alongside coordinates or `location` parameter to influence results within a specified distance, which is reflected in the local pack, where results include a `within_radius`, indicator. This update enables more accurate location targeting for local search use cases such as nearby business discovery, map based applications, and geo specific ranking analysis.
